I’m Jacqui, a novelist and Founder of
The Writing Coach
I’ve spent over thirty years helping writers clarify their work, find their voices, and bring their stories into the world.
I studied for an MA in Creative Writing at UEA, and went on to have four novels published including by Penguin and Bloomsbury. I’m the author of four novels and in 1995 was nominated for The Booker Prize, with over 100,000 copies of my work sold worldwide.
I have taught creative writing in a wide range of settings, from universities to a young offenders institution.
I live in London, where I continue to write, teach, and work with writers at all stages of their journeys.
